Location: Remote | Type: Internship | Duration: 3 Months | Stipend: Yes | Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
Are you the kind of person who thinks in captions, saves Reels for inspo, and knows what’s trending before it’s trending?
We’re Career Favor — a growing platform helping students figure out careers that actually fit them.
We talk about real stuff — career choices, college life, future plans — and we want to bring those conversations to Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who’s plugged into trends, enjoys writing short-form content, and genuinely understands how young people engage online.
You’ll work closely with our content and design team to plan, create, and manage content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter — turning career advice into scroll-stopping posts students actually care about.
What You’ll Actually Do
You’ll help us grow our social presence, connect with students, and turn career guidance into content that clicks, swipes, and shares.
- Draft captions that are clear, catchy, and scroll-worthy
- Help brainstorm and write posts around careers, college, and student life
- Spot trends on IG, LinkedIn, and Twitter — and figure out how to use them smartly
- Assist with content calendars, scheduling, and basic planning
- Help with carousels, reels, polls, stories, etc.
- Occasionally reply to comments or messages (yep, we’re building a community)
- Keep an eye on how posts are performing, and what’s clicking
You’ll Love This If…
- You get social media and actually enjoy being on it
- You’ve made content before (even if just for your college fest or personal brand)
- You can write like a human, not a robot — fun, clear, and sharp
- You’re curious about student life, careers, or content that adds value
- You want to build a real portfolio, not just do grunt work
No need to be a social media manager yet. If you’ve made a few solid posts, helped on a project, or know what makes content “work” — that’s enough to start.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who knows the difference between just posting and building a brand
- Decent writing skills — especially in short, snappy formats
- A good sense of timing, trends, and tone
- Basic comfort with tools like Canva, Notion, or Google Docs
- Reliable, creative, and easy to work with
- Bonus: If you’ve helped run a college page, personal project, or brand account — that’s awesome
What You Get (Perks & Benefits)
- A stipend — because we believe in paying interns
- Certificate + LinkedIn Recommendation
- Real hands-on experience with growing a social media brand
- Portfolio-worthy content (with credit)
- Guidance from a team that actually wants to help you grow
- First preference for future full-time roles
How to Apply
We’re not looking for influencers. We’re looking for communicators — people who want to use social media to help others grow.
Send your resume + 2–3 content samples (posts, carousels, captions — whatever you’ve made) to: careers@careerfavor.com
